The crisp air is the perfect temperature for a day of hiking. Enjoy the warm sun on your face, the spectacular scenery of glistening snowy white mountain peaks, and trees glowing in shades of gold and red. These are some of our favourite hiking areas:
Glacier National Park: A short half an hour drive takes you to a wide range of hikes with short walks through ancient rainforest to ambitious climbs with dramatic glacier views!
Mount Revelstoke National Park: Home to over 15 different hikes with varied difficulty and terrain there is a hike for everyone, minutes from our motel!

The town may be quiet, but some of our best events happen in the fall:
Luna Art Fest: Bringing art and energy to the streets of Revelstoke, discover over 30 art installations placed within the downtown core. With live shows, music, beer gardens and constant surprises, this free event transforms Revelstoke in to a fantastic art display.

Hot Springs
With the cool crisp mountain air what better way to spend an afternoon or evening soaking and relaxing in pools of hot mineral water.
Halfway Hot Springs: These all-natural hot springs are a must see! Relax and escape into nature with these off the grid, hot mineral water pools. Enjoy a handful of different pools of different temperatures, with the Halfway River running alongside if you are brave enough for a cold dunk!
Halcyon Hot Springs: Claiming to be some of the “most restorative hot spring waters” in North America, this gorgeous resort is a real pleasure to visit. A pristine setting surrounded by forest and stunning views of the river and surrounding mountain ranges, the views and atmosphere are as restorative as the water.

How To Explore Revelstoke in The Fall
Fall in Revelstoke is a favourite time of year. The summer rush has died down and the winter ski season has yet to arrive. It’s the perfect time of year, even with the rainfall, there are so many fun adventures to be had. The weather turns the leaves into a glory of colours. So why not get outside and enjoy those colours to the fullest
Go Biking
Biking in Revelstoke is an experience. This time of year the temperature is perfect. Not too hot, not too cold. Mount Macpherson offers some of the best biking around.
Explore
Going on a little road trip and exploring the alpine is a treat. To be able to do it on wheels and go a bit further. Hunt for the northern lights, go mushroom picking, check out the new ski and sled movies, get fit for ski season and cozy up in your favourite coffee shop.
The Falls in Fall
Revelstoke is known for it’s many adventures and high adrenaline activities. It should also be known for it’s beauty. Going on a hunt for the falls of Revelstoke is a fun one and well worth it. Here are a few of our favourites:
Begbie Falls
Begbie Falls is located just south of Revelstoke on Begbie Rd, just off of Highway 23 South. Follow the road and the signs will appear providing easy directions. Begbie Falls can be access by hiking, through a variety of hiking trails, or by road, depending on your vehicle as the road does get fairly rough. Once arriving at the central parking area, it’s a short 15 minute hike on a maintained path down to the base.
Crazy Creek Falls
Crazy Creek is located about 30 minutes West of Revelstoke along Highway 1, but for a fun day trip you can enjoy the hot pools there as well as do some hiking and check out the falls. The falls have two stages and drop approximately 100 feet with a natural pool in between. Set out to cross the suspension bridge for a great shot of the falls.
